Dorra and the MCP server

Dorra quotes wherever the deal is.

Dorra is Sadorra’s assistant. She works in the quote workspace, and Sadorra ships an MCP server that exposes quoting, deal insight and calculation as tools for any MCP client — Claude, ChatGPT, an Agentforce agent, a Slack workflow or something you wrote yourself. Ask for “500 seats of Enterprise, three years, same discount as last year for Acme” and get lines, totals, assumptions and the open questions back. Confirm, and the real quote is created.

The tools

What an agent can actually call

Seven tools, exposed over MCP. The same ones Dorra uses in the workspace.

  • quick_quote_draft draft a priced quote from a sentence
  • quick_quote_get read back the draft and its assumptions
  • quick_quote_answer answer the open questions on a draft
  • quick_quote_confirm turn the confirmed draft into a real quote
  • quick_quote_discard throw the draft away
  • deal_insight what matters on this deal, and why
  • calculate_quote run the pricing engine over a quote

Drafting is cheap and reversible. Creating a quote is not, so that step always belongs to a person.

Guardrails

What keeps this safe to hand an agent

Your permissions

Calls run under the org’s own permission sets. An agent sees what that user sees, and nothing more.

Nothing written unconfirmed

A draft is a draft. Nothing reaches the org until a person confirms it.

Deterministic pricing

The price comes from code that runs your rules and scripts, never from a model’s judgment.

Dorra quotes. The engine prices.

Why MCP

The platform is coming to where people work

With AIforce, Salesforce’s position is that the platform should meet people in whatever interface they already use. We agree, and think the quote has to come with it. A seller who lives in Slack, a rep drafting in Claude and an Agentforce agent working a renewal should all be able to price the same deal the same way.

Coming off Salesforce CPQ? The same engine that prices these drafts is the one that verifies your migrated quotes. See how migration works.
